mark_200Mark Ring is a Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Jacob William Advisory, a wealth management firm whose sole mission is to service their clients’ needs beyond their expectations.

Mark began his career in the financial services industry over 30 years ago in 1985 as a financial representative for a top financial services and insurance firm, Maryland Agency Financial Group. He became a partner with MAFG in 1993. In 2006, Mark Ring and Dan Morrison founded Jacob William Advisory based upon their core value “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”

Mark’s core desire and passion to help others stems from growing up in an environment of both success and failure of a family business. For Mark, at a young age, this experience taught him a lesson, and brought to the forefront the need for proper counsel, resources and education to help ensure success both professionally and personally. While hard work and a strong work ethic are positive attributes of one’s value, sometimes it simply is not enough. That’s why Jacob William Advisory’s mission is to empower our clients toward pursuing their financial objectives grounded on the principles of proactive communication, education, disciplined processes and service, which exceeds your expectations.

For over a decade, Mark has been committed to building Jacob William Advisory into one of the foremost Wealth Advisory firms. Of all the business accomplishments, he is most proud of the investment in the team at Jacob William Advisory and its achievement in being a partner in their client’s life successes.

He and his wife Nancy reside in Baltimore, Maryland and have two wonderful children. He is involved and a board member on numerous nonprofit organizations related to education and the arts. He enjoys time with his family most of all, playing tennis, golf and bicycling, cooking and travel.

Mark graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Economics.
