Meet Mark
Mark Ring is a Founding Partner of Jacob William Advisory and Wealth Advisor. He strives to help clients create clarity and understanding with their financial lives. Mark believes that having financial clarity can transform his clients toward a life of Independence.
Mark began his career in financial services with a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Maryland. In 1985, he became a financial representative at Maryland Agency Financial Group. He became a partner with MAFG in 1993.
In 2006, Mark and Dan Morrison founded Jacob William Advisory, a Registered Investment Advisor and a partner of Carson Group.
Mark’s passion to help others stems from growing up watching both the success and missteps of a family business – this showed him the need for proper counsel, resources and education.
Of all the business accomplishments, he is most proud of the Jacob William Advisory family in being a partner in their clients’ life successes and the community.
He and his wife, Nancy, live in Baltimore, Maryland, and have two wonderful children. He is involved in and a board member for numerous nonprofit organizations related to education, youth and the arts. He enjoys traveling, golfing, bicycling and, most of all, spending time with his family.
