Associate Wealth Advisor
Ryan Cooley is an integral member of the Jacob William Advisory team, a wealth management firm whose sole mission is to service their clients’ needs beyond their expectations. “My primary goal is to help clients identify and pursue their personal, financial, and business goals so they can live the life they choose. By being completely objective I can ensure my clients have all the tools and resources necessary to make the most beneficial decisions for the present as well as the future. ”
Ryan first began working on his defining characteristics at Fort Benning, Georgia during basic training to become a U.S. Army Infantryman, in 1998. As a young private he learned the seven basic values of the U.S. Army: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. Since leaving the Army he has maintained these virtues and continues to live up to them in everything he does. He now helps his clients with the same solid foundation.
After leaving the military, Ryan attended the University of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 2006 and a MBA in 2009.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting. In an effort to give back to his favorite place, the Chesapeake Bay, Ryan is an active member of the Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland. Additionally, Ryan is also passionate about veteran’s issues and holds a seat on the Advisory Board for Operation Second Chance. Ryan is also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans organization.
Ryan, his wife Germaine and two wonderful children reside in Urbana, Maryland. Aside from the outdoors, Ryan enjoys cooking, cheering on his son and daughter in all their activities and Maryland Terrapin sports.
