As Associate Wealth Advisor, Ryan Cooley is an integral member of the Jacob William Advisory team, whose sole mission is to service clients’ needs beyond their expectations.
Ryan’s primary goal is to help clients identify and pursue their personal, financial, and business goals, so they can live the life they choose. By being completely objective, he can ensure clients have the right tools and resources to make decisions that are in their best interest now and in the long term.
As a young private, Ryan learned the seven basic values of the U.S. Army: loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal courage. Since leaving the Army, he continues to live up to them in everything he does. He now helps his clients with the same solid foundation.
After leaving the military, Ryan attended the University of Maryland where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2006 and an MBA in 2009.
Ryan has a heart for community and veteran’s issues. He is an active member in the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek and holds a seat on the Advisory Board for Operation Second Chance, a group that serves wounded, injured and ill veterans. Every year he takes part in Ride Allegheny, which is a 310-bicycle ride from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Gaithersburg, Maryland, to raise money for wounded veterans. Ryan is also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans organization.
Ryan, his wife, Germaine, and two wonderful children live in Urbana, Maryland. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, cheering on his son and daughter in all their activities and rooting for the Maryland Terrapins.
